This has been a really special week for me, and a tough week in the same time as it’s my farewell tour of teaching fitness classes here in Connecticut. Having everyone reach out to me and show up for my last classes has really been special. But it’s also been a really emotional week in many ways. You know, teaching my last set of classes I always envisioned I’d be at my peak of health and fitness. And I’m not there. And the frustration that that can cause.

So my question for everyone is, What is preventing you from feeling better? What is it that is keeping you back?
I know for me it’s still that struggle of figuring out the whole thyroid issue since being diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. And adding more stress on top of that from the PTSD of showing up and whether or not that’s associated with the thyroid and just all the things that are going on in life…who knows!
But we need to take a mental check and figure out what it is that’s stopping us from feeling better.
So my friend Sheryl and I have teamed up to do an amazing group. We’ve really been struggling ourselves behind the scenes and finally decided that you know what? If health professionals, someone like myself who has been in the fitness industry for over 30 plus years and is a nutritional therapist and is still struggling, that there has to be other people out there struggling as well.
So together, I want us all to get back into that feeling better phase. To that wake up in the morning and jump out of bed, can’t wait to get this day started phase. Now, not every day is going to be like that. C’mon I get that right? We’re real people with real problems. But if you are looking for that way of getting to that next phase, join me. Let’s do this together.
Because until you find that reason. Until you hit that mindset of clicking with what’s going to make a difference, you’re going to say in that same pattern gang. And life is too short! It really is. Life is too short to just go through the motions. We need to do it with gusto. And to wake up wanting to go through that day. And if you don’t and if you’re not feeling that, let’s do something about it. Together, lets’ make that change. Let’s make September our month!
It’s not too late. It’s never too late to be a healthier, fitter version of yourself xo
